Summary
Written for these two prompts: № 1 and № 2. To John’s surprise, Sherlock seems to have got himself another flatmate, and this time it’s something more than chaste flat-sharing. Sherlock doesn’t look happy though. Neither does John.

Family secrets, Hurt/Comfort and hopefully major Angst. Warning - child abuse references; I teared up while writing it.

Summary
All of a sudden he was tossed to the ground and his head hit the wet cement floor with a sickening thud that made his body go slack for a moment.
“Well, hello there! Nice to see you Sherlock! I was hoping you’d decide to pop in and say hi to your good old friend Jim.” his body tensed and suddenly all the smugness left his body at the sound of that familiar mocking tone.
Moriarty.

Summary
John's been angry at Sherlock since the day he turned up wearing a fake mustache and a tuxedo. He's still angry, even as he moves back into 221B, and he never hesitates to let Sherlock know it.
One day, Sherlock stops saying sorry, and walks out instead.
One day, Sherlock wakes up handcuffed in the boot of a car, and John doesn't know, because John's been angry at him for so long he's forgotten that he's not the only one that's hurting.

Summary
Things hadn’t felt right in 221B since John and Rosie moved back in. Everything was off. Wrong. If only Sherlock knew it was about to get even worse. But, for vegetation to return to a barren wasteland, rain from thunderstorms is necessary. A brushfire, even, to burn away the old and provide nourishment for the new… and to expose a truth that’s been present all along.
Excerpt from Chapter 1:
He stumbled as he was yanked backwards by the chain of the handcuffs, Mr. Morrison’s cruel hand having snaked under his Belstaff to assert his control. John met his eye. He nodded once, almost harshly, in the regimented yet reassuring manner of a soldier. Sherlock knew he was painfully squeezing his hands together behind his back as if to punish himself; lips bitten red and a tightly clenched jaw also betrayed the worry behind his steely façade.
“I’ll kill him,” John said, terrifyingly calm. “I’ll kill him and bring you home. I will.”

Summary
Closing his eyes, Sherlock allows himself a brief swell of feeling--let’s not put a name on it, just call it a feeling--for his big brother. He knows that when Mycroft opens that steel door again, every man now inside will be a fresh corpse.
The East Wind will take them all, Sherlock thinks fuzzily, before the curtain of sleep descends.
