Summary
It was stupid.
Oscar knew it was stupid. Louis was one of Lando’s closest friends, and yet-
And yet the cell phone in his hands felt like it weighed a ton, the image attached to Lando’s most recent instagram story burning behind his eyelids.
Or, the one in which Oscar tries to talk about feeling jealous, Lando says they’re not even dating and the grid decides to show him that’s his loss, not Oscar’s.
Also, Oscar who is not aware of the plan gets increasingly confused by the amount of attention he is suddenly receiving from absolutely everyone.

Obviously Lando did not feel sorry for winning the championship, that would be stupid.

They signed it for convenience. It's near the university. But this arrangement with George is anything but convenient.
But he thinks that, if he ever had to live in a world where there were no skincare products from George by this counter at all, he would replace it with replicas and label them all as George's. Because there isn't a world without George living together with him, not right now, and he doesn't want to imagine it.

There are six rookies on the grid. Which is totally fine, and Max is completely normal about. 100%, totally normal.
It’s his fucking cat instincts that seem to have a problem with them.

In a world full of animal shifters, Max being able to turn into a cat shouldn't be that weird. It wouldn't be, if Jos hadn't spent Max's entire life convincing the world Max could turn into a lion and not a house cat. Now, Max is stuck wrangling both his cat instincts and six rookies while trying to not let the entire world find out his brand "Unleash the lion" is a lie.
Somehow, Charles is involved in all of this. Max isn't quite sure how.
