It's the Summer of Love, 1967. Lyndon Johnson is president, there's a social revolution on every college campus in America, and the war in Vietnam drags on... But, Sarge's biggest problem seems to be Fillmore, the anti-war peacenik he met on the wrong side of a Be-In outside Radiator Springs, Arizona. They were two sides of the same coin, mutually assured destruction. Sarge never wanted to like him, and he was certain that Fillmore felt the same.
