Tubbo waved his hands. “We should decorate shit.” He was ecstatic, almost half crazed, if Ranboo didn’t know any better-- but he was almost glowing. The room was dim, but the lamp behind him lit up the ends of his hair and cast shadows when he turned his head. Ranboo had to forcibly snap himself out of the daze he’d entered.
“We don’t have paint, Tubs,” Tommy interjected sleepily. He shifted from his place on the couch, trying to sit up more. He looked more out of it than Ranboo felt.
Tubbo reached into the box for another slice, wrist brushing against Ranboo’s. He did his best not to shiver. If anyone noticed, he’d blame it on the night time chill. “How about stickers?”
Tommy answered with an incredulous “On the walls?”, but Ranboo was thinking in a different direction.
“Glow in the dark stars.”

Purpled straightened hurriedly, taking a step back at the intrusion. Schlatt stood in the doorway, hair held back in a stupid headband.
It took a few seconds for Purpled to realise that Schlatt was staring at his jaw, furrowing his eyebrows pointedly at the dark bruise over the pale skin. Feeling somewhat defensive, Purpled took a small step forward, head held high. "That's none of your business."
