Summary
Irony must be a driving factor in Aloy's life; AETHER is meant to stabilize the air, but to get it she has to partner with a cold vortex of a man that quite obviously hates her company. The feeling is painfully mutual. Kotallo has been denied death, and cannot see his task of escorting an outlander in a doomed mission as anything other than an insult. The commonalities between them are barely enough to fill the surface of a coin and they'll surely kill each other before they even make it to the Bulwark.
Or, perhaps, they are both sides of it--alike and unable to realize it for the line separating them. Perhaps, instead of killing each other, they'll be able to work together after all.
OR a switching POV fic in which I catalog all the FEELS of our two favorite broody stabbers as they journey through the game.

Summary
"I don't..I don't know what you're talking about." Peter murmured, he sounded more confident in his head.
"there is no heterosexual explanation for why you said it the way you said it, your intimacy issues aside. I'm being honest." Roman pointed out, letting it just roll off his tongue, again as if talking about something as simple as the weather and not Peter being totally in love with him.

Summary
“Obsession and love, for both Peter and Roman, are supposed to hurt like teeth.”
Or, where Roman and Peter are together in a relationship, figuring out life with their own monster still living deep within as they go through trial and error, blurred lines between obsession and love, living as boys as they should be in Hemlock Grove and the only problem they’re facing is being a teenager.
