Summary
Yuuji has been walking the earth for just as long as humans have existed. He has guided their souls from their body onto the afterlife by duty. But it is with contentment that he does so for he’s known no life except for it.
One day, he meets a man; alabaster skin, cottony-white hair, and the oceans in his eyes, standing and swaying on the edge of one of the highest buildings in the city. Yuuji watches him patiently—then the man turns, and for some reason, it’s as though he is looking straight at him.
“Are you here for my soul?” The man asks, peering at Yuuji—he thinks, for that should be impossible.
“You have yet to die, so no.” Yuuji responds then comically shaking his head immediately after, knowing that neither shall carry into mortal sights and ears.But much to Yuuji’s surprise, the man replies with a nod.
“Should I jump from this building then? So, I can finally spend time with you…Yuuji?”
—Psychopomp Yuuji sees Satoru standing on the edge of a high-rise building and somehow his start is looking just like his ending.

“What the fuck are you?”
“Satoru!” the newcomer—Yuuji, his other self called him—crows, miasmic cursed energy radiating from him in great, heaving waves. Satoru doesn’t blink, but he still doesn’t see Yuuji move. One moment, he’s a respectable distance away, and the next, there are two palms splayed on Satoru’s desk and warm brown eyes mere inches away from his own. “You’re so young! This is adorable!”
“What,” Satoru says, confused and maybe a little panicked, “the fuck?”
“That’s a good question—” Yuuji starts to say, only to be damn near strangled by the pair of arms that wrap around his neck, yanking him back against a taller body. A too-familiar chin digs into Yuuji’s shoulder as Satoru’s accursed other self shamelessly nuzzles into him.
“Don’t abandon me like that, Yuuji,” the bastard whines. Under the goddamn blindfold, his eyes are fixed on Satoru. “I’m also young and adorable.”
Gojou Satoru and Itadori Yuuji travel back in time to avert an apocalyptic future. Sixteen-year-old Satoru has opinions about the whole thing.

“Sukuna,” he breathes.
The figure turns its head. Messy pink hair, long enough to cover the creature’s nape but not to hide the segmented dark markings running down his back, shifts in the wind. He catches the edge of a sharp jaw, pruned of the last vestiges of baby fat that used to be there.
“Not exactly,” says the voice of Itadori Yuuji with the body of Itadori Yuuji, with markings and power and two whole extra limbs that say this cannot possibly be Itadori Yuuji.
But when the creature rises, turning to face Satoru, the eyes that meet his are the brown of autumn leaves, not the red of fresh blood, and even the two half-open eyes under those are more amber than crimson.
Yuuji’s eyes, peering calmly at Satoru from amidst Sukuna’s telltale markings.
“Hello again, Gojou-sensei. It’s been a while.”
The Prison Realm releases Gojou Satoru—one thousand years into the future.

“Are you Itadori Yuuji?” He asks, his tone is polite but it betrays his uncertainty.
“That depends who’s asking” he replies looking the sorcerer up and down, he’s strong but nowhere near as strong as Satoru.
“I’m sorry to disturb you but Gojou Satoru told me if anything happened to him that I should find you” the man explains. He looks exhausted, like he’s been to hell and back in the space of three days and maybe he has.
“Who are you?” He asks keeping his guard up.
“My name is Yaga Masamichi I’m the principal at Tokyo Jujutsu High School and technically Gojou Satoru’s boss” he supplies.
“Why only technically?” He can’t help but ask.
“Because Satoru does what he wants” he huffs almost affectionately.
Yuuji snorts with laughter at that “Yeah, that sounds right” he agrees before stepping aside to let the man into his apartment “So what happened then? Things have been a little off around here…”
“Satoru was sealed in a cursed object known as the prison realm by a sorcerer from the Heien period” Yaga interrupts.
