Summary
Tim Drake has the ability to shapeshift. Any animal he’s seen—whether in person, through photographs, or even just on a page—he can change into it. And he excels at it, too…but he doesn’t do it around the Bats.
It becomes a problem when the Bats face off against bad guys that he’s not sure they can beat on their own. At least…not unless he shows what he’s been hiding. It’s an easy choice to make.

“I don’t care if you love me, old man,” Jason ached in all the possible ways you could ache. His eyes burned, his chest throbbed, and his nails bit into his palms like the pain in his heart could be drawn out to his hands. “It’s not enough for you to claim that you love me and then expect everything to go back to the way it used to be.”
“I don’t just love you, chum.” Bruce rested a large hand on his shoulder, and Jason couldn’t force himself to pull away like he wanted to. “I’ve missed you.”
“You don’t miss me, B,” Jason violently shrugged him off, pretending that the absence of his touch wasn’t like being torn apart. “You miss a boy who died in a warehouse. Not the murderer who goes against everything you believe in.”
“We all have exceptions,” Bruce told him, not a flicker of emotion on his face despite the intensity of his voice. Some training one could never beat out of themselves. “You are mine, son. I don’t care what you’ve done or who you think you are; I just want you back.”

Summary
When Jason Todd dies in Ethiopia, Tim Drake is not there to replace him and save batman, hes busy with other things. Very assassin shaped things...
However, a few years later when his parents die, he returns to gotham to take over their company and, to everyones dismay, including his own, he finds another way into the family.
A Loa Tim fic also vaguely inspired by Yellow_sprouts "the drakes spoiled brat(im sorry dad)"

Summary
“My sweet boy, I’ve got you. I’ll protect you,” Mommy soothes. “I won’t let anyone touch you.” Tim wants to believe her, he needs to. Mommy is smart, she always knows what she’s talking about. So she must know now too, despite how agonizingly frightening this is. “You’ll be safe in here, baby.”
Tim wants to pull back and look at her face, but even if the hand carding through his hair let up, there’s not enough light to make out her expression anyway. Tim doesn’t like the dark.
She continues, voice low and with a desperation he’s never heard from her before, “I need you to be very brave, Timothy. I need to go find a phone, and I need you to wait here for me, very quiet, just like hide and seek.”
“No,” he mewls before he can help himself, “No, Mommy, don’t go, please. Don’t leave me.”

Tim has used up all of his bandaids, but Mommy still won’t wake up. He doesn’t know what to do. He needs a grown-up’s help. Thankfully, he knows who Batman is. Batman can make it all better.
