    What I wanted to write was a quick one-shot that explored the idea of Harry being the biological son of Voldemort, only Voldemort doesn't know he has a son and is also as evil as ever. Meanwhile, Harry is just a charismatic kid with a snake and ridiculously powerful magic.

    It turned into a series rewrite.

The brothers save Mick’s life and bring him back to the bunker where the man is understandably shaken up and upset. Can a “lowly” American hunter manage to grant Mick the acceptance he didn’t know he needed and will he even be willing to take it if it’s offered?

    (The mild violence tag is for some gunshot wounds but nothing is very graphic.)

    Clarke is nothing more than a power piece to Roan, a bargaining chip he uses in order to exert his new rule over his people. She doesn't hate him for it, even understands why he took her away from her people and back to the Azgeda capital, but that doesn't mean she enjoys the situation. Of course, living among people and in close quarters to their king, it's not an easy task to remain apart from them.
