Summary
Even after the war, Sylvain is aware of the duties he has to his nation. Just because the intercontinental conflict was over didn't mean that he could just relax with his friends like he always wanted. They all had work to do and in his case, it was to make sure that no further combat broke out with Sreng but it was leaving him rather empty. Gone was the life where he could live as a philanderer. The life of Margrave Gautier was going to be a tumultuous one as it was a journey that was largely meant to be taken alone.
However, perhaps that emptiness can be filled with the help with the sudden appearance of an old wartime friend. With various connections to call in favours, Yuri is happy to assist Sylvain in his affairs while making sure he can fill that void he's feeling while making sure he's well taken care of. And perhaps gone are the days messing around with women when Yuri and his personal interests are keeping Sylvain curious for more.
Learning more about his interests might lead to filling more than the void though. And Sylvain can't say he dislikes the feeling.
