–wherein Kuramochi Youichi is an older brother first than a friend.
And has the duty and responsibility of making sure that one sadistic-ruthless-catcher-somewhat-friend doesn't get ahold of his awkward-gullible-pitcher-and-sworn-to-protect-younger-brother but fate doesn't let him do his job peacefully because the universe says that Miyuki Kazuya and Sawamura Eijun are made for each other.
But nonetheless, futilely tries his best because he cares for and loves Eijun even he won't ever admit that to anyone and whom he thinks deserves everything good and life.
And Miyuki isn't really the person capable of gving his brother that – Youichi sullenly thinks.
Or,
Youichi being a third wheel without really being a third wheel on Eijun and Miyuki's lovelife because he's overprotective like that.
But basically, this is all about Youichi and Eijun's story about being brothers.

It’s weirdly shocking to see someone from baseball outside of that context to say the least, and Mei is no exception. Sawamura is so used to seeing Mei’s body wrapped in Inashiro logos that he almost looks naked without the striking red font splaying across his chest. It takes more will power than Sawamura would like to admit trying to keep his smile natural and his posture normal.
Was Mei always this goddamn attractive?
