    Alastor can reclaim his staff if he obeys Vox for one hundred days. What Vox frames as a deal quickly becomes something else entirely: a slow psychological struggle between two demons who have spent decades sharpening themselves against each other. Vox expects control. Alastor refuses submission.
    As proximity tightens, familiar power dynamics corrode. Vox’s systems begin to fail under the strain, stability cracking in ways he cannot fully contain. While Alastor is pulled toward a closeness that feels increasingly dangerous. This bargain was never meant to be endured without consequence.
