Regardless of what he said, the footage remained, living behind his eyes— a relentless, looping image that haunted his peripheral vision. It haunted him like a bad replay on arena screens; blown up, pixelated, and stripped of all context.
The original, quiet intimacy was gone, replaced by a voyeuristic nightmare, where every single frame flattened something sacred into something cheap and consumable.
