Summary
Ten years.
Clover has been trapped in a loop of running through all the different routes of Undertale Yellow for ten real-time years.
Then, during one of the thousands of hateful massacres that have played out, something changes.
Right at the end of the bloodsoaked path, unable to suppress a guilt gnawing at them from within, Clover turns their gun on the yellow flower a touch early.
The gunslinger fights Flowey with an equal level of Determination. The save file is damaged in the crossfire, and the save system is destroyed.The data corruption sends Clover through the void, all the way back to just outside Mt. Ebott, and also ages the gunslinger as well as the world itself by ten years.
While in the void, he sees fragments of events in the other routes, and a vision of a person he's never met before trapped in a certain laboratory.Burdened by the weight of his sins from his last journey, and armed with a vastly more mature body and mind, the fully grown cowboy decides he has to do things differently this time.
No more SAVEs. No more LOADs. No more RESETs.
All actions have permanent, irreversible consequences.
This is their final shot.
Do or die.

Summary
Clover's Journey has come to its end.
For most of the Underground, this is a cause for celebration. After all, monsterkind is now only one soul away, and most can live knowing that they will likely be among those who will first step onto freer soil.
A select few, however, see things differently. For them, that human's death provides only unanswerable questions, not peace of mind.How can they honor the memory of such a beautiful yet fleeting life?
How do they go back to living normally after having their previous lives shattered? Is it even right to try and 'go back', or should the pieces be formed into something new?
'Right' and 'wrong' have been revealed to them, but can those things still be found once the light of justice fades?
Creating new light is not so easy. After all:
Sparks cannot be captured
The sun doesn't reach all corners
Stars don't always shine brightly enough
And not all flames can be containedBut perhaps, as the sun gives way to stars and artificial light, so too can the many guide one another along each leg of the journey. They just need to find each other first.

In an attempt to try finding and saving the five fallen children that came before him, Clover makes his way into the Underground beneath Mt. Ebott. He needs to find a way to get to them, and deliver justice on their behalf... if he could muster the courage to do so. At the very least, he wouldn't be alone... no matter how badly he, or his newfound company, may have wanted it. Thanks to mysterious circumstances, when Clover finds himself having fallen into Mosterkind's territory, a certain spirit is inexplicably tethered to them... they go by Kanako.

Clover is dead.
And yet, he persists.
Unable to let himself fall into the unknown that is death, his soul clings to a facsimile of life, trapped in darkness with nothing but his thoughts and time to reflect and ponder. He will not, cannot move on, even when there is nothing left for him in this world. No body, and no hope of returning home. No hope of reuniting with his friends.
Until someone called for help.
Now stuck in an Underground he does not recognize with only his trusty four-shooter and a friend he can’t trust, Clover searches for his friends, the voice who called for help, and answers. Retracing his path through the Underground, and forging a few new ones as well, Clover battles his thoughts, suspicions, and memories of events that never occurred, but won’t quite leave him either.
Now, if only he could find his hat.
