Mike never ran. Be it a demogorgon, or a flayed Billy nearly pouncing on him, Mike never ran. He'd stand there, feet frozen, waiting for death to take him like it was inevitable. Like he was already accepting there was no way out. He wasn't like Will, who held a gun and ran and hid. Mike never ran. He just looked away and let it happen.
And Will hated that no amount of his powers could stop Mike from taking that step. What use was it, if they could stop a demogorgon, but not Mike's pain? Mike himself?
Or- Mike is unable to move on after losing Jane and attempts suicide a few months after graduation. Will comes back from New York to be with him.

It's Levi's first Christmas with the scouts- Hange is very enthusiastic, wanting to show him just how serious they are about wanting to befriend him, since all he does is push them away and distance them.
But do they know, that it's his birthday as well? He never told them, no matter how persistent they were. All they know is that he.. he isn't what he wants everyone to think he is. Behind that demeanor, those sarcastic words, those stormy eyes- he is just another man, longing for peace and a simple life.
Hange is determined to bond with him, determined to make him feel loved through simple gestures. Christmas is just an excuse, isn't it?Levi is like soft snowfall.. cold, but beautiful. Just like snowfall.. he, too, leaves behind a sense of warmth and coziness in their heart.
