His shoulders are still shaking as he wipes at the tears in the corners of his eyes, looking at Miyuki with animated eyes and a smug smile. Miyuki pales because if Kuramochi’s cackling like an idiot then that means he’s also put the puzzle pieces together. “So you’re telling me that lover boy over here went into rut because of Sawamura?”
Miyuki's rut comes early and Sawamura's determined to make it his problem.

Sawamura loves baseball but his relationship with the sport hasn't always been easy. He thought things were going to get better after he overcame the yips, yet he is left feeling uncertain about his position on the team and about his battery with Miyuki. The older catcher has been preoccupied with his Captain duties and Furya, leaving Eijun on his own.
With challenges both on and off the field a new batch of first years and an invite to join a special team may be just what Sawamura needs for things to change. Especially when first year catcher Okumura seems very dedicated to replacing Miyuki as Sawamura's partner.
