Harley decided to stop thinking and just choose a damn window already. He threw a pebble and watched in horror as the window shattered from the small stone.
“Oh FUCK!” Harley was too drunk to think, so he grabbed his bluetooth speaker turned boom box and turn to run, only to trip over his own two feet and fall to the ground. This was it. He was going to die. Mostly of embarrassment.
“What in the actual FUCK?” Screamed out a voice too deep to be Peter’s. Oh no. He chose the wrong window.

Harley wants to do the old trope from 80's movies where a guy will serenade someone and confess their love to Peter. But he doesn't know what window to choose.

It always began like this.
Always... yes, that's a word to describe it. Notably it means that he hadn't predicted for this... disastrously mishandled situation, otherwise known as a clusterfuck, to happen at all.
And despite it all, here he was, in the basement of one of his properties in New York. That in on itself wasn't alarming, except the very small and insignificant part where there's a woman tied to a chair in front of him.
As hard as he tried to stick to his routine, it was virtually impossible to predict human behavior. That's why it always came as a shock. The same happened that day, he never expected to get exasperated at work, never planned to get so angry he had to grip his chair with the force of an entire Spartan army — or else that hand would be squeezing the jugular of his interlocutor, or to, ultimately, get so furious with the goldfishes surrounding him, that he had to close himself up in his office until the end of his shift deep into the evening.
And then he saw a boy in need of help.
Or—Tony saves a kid, and the kid decides to stick to his savior.
