Summary
Christmas with the Charmings, or the Mills? Despite her new last name, Emma had a choice to make.
However, she probably should’ve told Snow about her recent change in marital status. Or the years before that.
Or, that she was dating anyone at all. But most importantly -
“So, you approve of him, Regina?”
Regina Swan-Mills raised a perfectly coiffed eyebrow at her step-daughter turned mother-in-law, her eyes shifting to her best friend, who grinned nervously. “Why wouldn’t I? I’d approve of anyone Emma deems worthy, as long as they have two good hands and a strong sense of commitment.”
Beside her, Emma snorted, covering it as a cough. She was sure even Killian would have laughed at that one, but Neal probably would’ve taken offense.
Mary Margaret didn’t pay it any mind, even more perplexed.

Summary
“See you later, Sheriff Swan,” Regina says, smooths down the lapels of Emma’s jacket and with a last satisfied smile, turns to enter the diner. Emma remains on the doorstep for a solid five minutes, heart racing and hands trembling and her feelings wild and chaotic, before she can move again.
Jesus – if this is her reaction to a kiss on the cheek, she truly is a lost cause.

After saving Robin from Zelena, Regina doesn't end up with him again but grows closer to Emma. Emma is madly in love but tells herself Regina would never feel the same. Can one drunken night out open Emma's eyes or will she be forever in denial?
