Summary
Following the most recent assassination attempt on the life of Prince Mikhail, the prince's lifemate, Raven, decides that what the downtrodden community needs is a celebration. A Christmas party, to bring the Carpathians together in a way they haven't been in centuries. The women think it's a wonderful idea. The men think it's a terrible idea. The vampires think it's an opportunity.
In the midst of the chaos, four women navigate their ever changing world. Belle Dubrinsky, niece of the Prince, concentrates on helping her aunt welcome her baby, all the while anticipating and fearing meeting her lifemate during the festivities. Sophie Bennett Daratrazanoff, newly converted, wants more time to adjust to her new life, but with the fate of the species in the balance, it's time that may not exist. Twins Katherine and Stephanie Novak return to the mountains on the wings of a rumor, hoping to reunite the family that was torn apart by the Carpathian's greatest enemy.

“Are you all done conversing without me that I can continue,” she asked with dry amusement crossing her arms. “It is a troubling revelation,” he conceded with a small bow of apology which she returned in kind. “I understand, but I see you also understand the risk we pose in moving her. She has fallen into a slumber after…everything that has happened. I am her daughter, as is my youngest sister Salietta.”

Summary
