Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III can't be in a better time in his life. He is now the hero who defeated the Red Death everyone loves him! even Snotlout (okay maybe he isn't that nice but at least he stops bullying hiccup) behave almost like a tolerable human-viking being.
Life is a piece of sunshine in berk for him, after all he is the only one who knows how to train a dragon... Right?...So... Who the hell is this white clown!!?

Something between annoyance and acceptance flashed across Edwin’s face. “I believe you have it right,” Edwin said. “It would seem that would be the form ghosts take when they heal.”
Charles nodded. “Kinda brills, honestly. Like a turtle goin’ into their shell or something.”
Edwin squinted his eyes at the comparison. “I suppose,” he said. And then almost immediately collapsed when he tried to get up.
“Oi!” Charles said and wrapped his arms around him. “What’re you doing? You wanna be an orb again?”

“Did you just cough up a flower?” Charles interrupts. Flower, perhaps, is a slight exaggeration. It’s more like a petal, red and incredibly out of place here on the shore.
Edwin clears his throat, but this time no petals follow. “Certainly it’s nothing to worry about.”
Or: Edwin is suffering from a weird curse, but for some reason, he's refusing Charles' help. Charles is trying his best to fix it anyway, but Edwin is being oddly secretive about the whole thing.
