Las luces la golpeaban con una intensidad casi cruel. Ardían sobre su piel, sobre sus ojos, sobre cada rincón vulnerable que intentaba esconder. Respiró hondo, pero el aire no le alcanzó; sentía el pecho apretado, como si toda la sala la estuviera mirando con la misma pregunta que ella llevaba cargando meses.
Intentó mantener las manos quietas sobre su regazo, para que el hombre sentado frente a ella no notara su nerviosismo. Forzó su postura a permanecer serena, aunque cada segundo se sentía más expuesta.
Dios… quería que todo terminara.
—Princesa Ochako.
Su nombre la hizo alzar la vista, aunque sus ojos brillaban más de lo que deberían.
—¿Usted considera que la razón del fracaso de su matrimonio fue por el Maestro de Ceremonias Real, Bakugo Katsuki?
Por un instante, Ochako no respondió. Fue apenas un segundo… pero suficiente para que cualquiera viera la grieta.
Su garganta se cerró, tragó saliva, y aun así, la voz le salió baja, frágil.
