Stan culture.
Dream had no issue with it, really. The lengths he went to defend his stans showed that, from him making a video, to him writing several lengthy threads on Twitter. Really, he knew they were just fans who wanted to find a bigger community for themselves.
One day, though, curiosity got the best of him. He really wanted to know what was up, so… what’s a better way to find out the mentality of a crowd than join them? Twitter lets you have multiple accounts on the same device. Might as well put that feature to good use.
So, expecting to make a few ‘moots’ and ‘oomfs,’ Dream signs himself up another account for the blue app. He’s immediately able to understand what to do, and how to fit in. Under the alias of a twenty-one year old named ‘Brick,’ things are going smoothly.
Until they don’t.

“What’s your name?” George looks up, and the guy is raising an eyebrow at him. “For the cup!” he does not squeak in reply, holding up the cup and giving it a slight wave, deciding that he’s got no dignity left for the week, let alone the rest of this torturous conversation.
“Clay,” the guy says, eyebrow coming down.
