There was always some sort of warning when these things were coming, these big battles. There would be many who would pass through, their deaths being the indicator of oncoming war.On the other hand, he did not at all want to deal with complete crowding of his space, and he wasn’t exactly fond of the journey now either. He had made it more times than he could possibly count in his eternity, and he was quite bored of it. So here he was, bringing small groups across the Styx, preparing for the deaths to come.
And as the slow hours passed on, Charon watched the 16 demigods of Camp-Half Blood pass through his land, awaiting their passage to the underworld.
