Following the events in the tavern, Diluc attempts to get Venti to open up due to his newfound concerns. Not to mention Venti's other friends begin to realise something is up with the bard as well.However, if there's anything the great Lord Barbatos hates to do, it is passing his burdens onto others.

Summary
A calm and quiet night at Angel's Share, everyone had gone home and Diluc is left cleaning up for the night, he silently clean the glasses shared between the drunkards until he gets a familiar feeling that he isn't alone.
He would normally give a snide remark to Venti that the tavern was closed and that he needed to leave, but tonight something didn't seem right with the bard. Being the way used wine glasses were discarded on the table in front of him, or the fact Venti had his knees to his chest as he mumbled incoherent words, cradling himself unsteadily.

Venti has drunk way to much for his tab, yet he could not hold a single care as his eyes cloud over with the ghosts of those long gone.

Summary

He had been forced to seek out the dreams of his masters’ enemies, to devour them. The damage wrought by consuming a dream was beyond repair. It left an indelible scar upon the soul, a mark that might never fade. Xiao had sworn to himself, many lifetimes ago, that he would never again taste the delicate fabric of another dream. But that vow didn’t mean he couldn’t indulge in the quiet solace of mere observation. To slip briefly into what it had once been like, to know peace, and invisibly spectate others' happiness.

The flock just keeps growing. I can care for it on a large scale, but it's more feasible to stay on top of things on a more, I guess… relational level if there's more than just one person at the head," they explain with a nod, seeming satisfied with themself. And oddly, it's their forthright manner here that's throwing him off guard, more than anything.
Through the crown, he had listened in on their sermons. They were a talented preacher, sometimes fearsome and sometimes loving, always grandiose. He'd drunk deep of the devotion their fervor inspired, and of their own fidelity to the gospel in their hand, penned carefully in his name. Their own worship.
And now, they spoke to him as if they were haggling with one of the vendors on the outskirts. Like that poorly disguised cannibal who sold them fish.
"So, I think it'd be a logical course of action if we just get married, and lead together," they finish, nodding again.-

Summary
“Macaque! Look at this!”
Macaque places the dishes down, turning to look at the little girl with white streaks through her hair.
"Wow! this is an amazing drawing" he says as he grouch's down to be at her height. Ba Hei grins happily as she points at the scribbles that Macaque makes out to be people.
"Thats you! then there's Rumble and Savage play fighting and Nezha is trying to stop them!" She points at each different squiggle as she speaks, she turns her eyes to him as they shine with delight.
"You like it?" she questions, Macaque smiles.
"I love it!" He picks up Ba Hei and twirls her around, she laughs with joy as Macaque brings her close to give her a hug.
Macaque loves it, the light feeling in his chest when he gets to hug his cubs.
And he'll do anything to keep it.
