Summary
Bokuto's a firefighter. Akaashi's a doctor for kids. They're married.
One night Bokuto rescues a child, he brings him back to the hospital. Akaashi later finds out that the kid's parent - who are dead - had done some pretty horrible things to the child. The two husbands slowly but surely fall in love with the scared, scarred and quite sunshine of a child. They've never really thought of having kids of their own until now.

“Nooo~ Daddy…..I’m…not..sleepy. I wanna….” His eye slowly close, staying closed for a few seconds before they’re abruptly opened again, “I wanna see Santa.” His hands move to rubs his eyes and he yawns again.
Smiling Akaashi shakes his head at how adorable his child was. Bending down to give the child another kiss, “well that won’t do. He sees when you’re sleeping, and he knows when you’re awake…so you have to be asleep for Santa to be able to deliver your presents, or you’re not getting any.”

“Who. Shou. Who is Santa.” Shouyou nods in understanding, and Akaashi continues, “well, Santa – Santa Clause is a man who lives in the North Pole, along with his wife – Missus Clause and all these elves, who make presents children had asked Santa for. Santa then delivers them to all the nice boys and girls on Christmas eve night, when everyone is asleep.” Akaashi watches in amusement as Shouyou’s eyes slowly grow bigger.

Summary
The subject of Akaashi Keiji’s boyfriend was one that was widely speculated on and brought up every time the Fukurodani alumni uploaded a new picture to social media. The pictures always had Akaashi in the foreground with a neutral expression, and the only thing changing about his pose was that sometimes he held his hand up in a victory sign or thumbs up. The backgrounds were a constant state of chaos, but the subject was never fully visible. The rumours going around their dorm floor were as follows:
One; Akaashi Keiji didn’t actually have a boyfriend, but had really hired someone -- and not necessarily the same someone -- to have hilariously horrific accidents to be caught on camera.
Two; Akaashi Keiji didn’t actually have a boyfriend, but was really just flexing his impressive Photoshopping skills.
Three; Akaashi Keiji actually did have a boyfriend, and he was just that unfortunately clumsy.

At the spry young age of 24, Bokuto Koutaru had his life in a pretty good place: full time – mostly – job as a personal trainer, best bro as a band-mate and roomie, time for a hobby, and an apartment; he was at least two steps ahead of where his college senior year self thought he’d be. Once upon a weekly bro-date, he and Kuroo head to a coffee shop Kuroo is a semi-regular at and Bokuto meets one Akaashi Keiji and is smitten at first sight.
