There wasn’t anything for him here, he reminded himself as he took his shoes off.
He was just taking up space, he thought, stepping over the edge.
Others would shine brightly where he had just existed, he thought before throwing himself forward and ignoring the strangled scream that came from behind him. -

“Slow down!” Iwaizumi yelled, pumping his silver tail as he tried catching up to Kyoutani.
“He’s not going anywhere, he can wait a few more moments.” Iwaizumi scolded, wrapping an arm around the blonde to keep him at pace next to him.
“But I can’t.” Kyoutani grumbled, and Iwaizumi saw the whirlwind of emotions in his boyfriend’s eyes.

This conversation stuck in Iwaizumi’s mind for a while after that. He found himself thinking about how to tell them, or when the best time would be. He found himself constantly looking at his bank account and mowing more lawns and doing more chores for the neighbors. He counted the money he had and found himself debating about telling them more and more as time went on.
