It was right at the edge of her memory. Daryl smoked his cigarette, watching Beth watching him. She spoke softly. “I know you, don’t I?”
He held her gaze, his eyes small and shrouded against the shadows thrown by the street lights. After a minute he tapped a long column of ash off the butt, looked away, and shrugged.
Beth huffed. “Well, I think you know me. Do you?”
Her stomach clenched as Daryl finally nodded, looking down at his shoes, at the sidewalk. “Took me a minute,” he said, dropping the butt and crushing it with his boot. “But I clocked ya.”
It was like a picture coming into focus. His eyes flicked up to hers, and he knew that she knew.

Summary
Sansa escapes King's Landing during the bread riots but ends up captured and brought to Harrenhal where she is reunited with Arya. She catches the eye of first Ser Gregor then Lord Lannister. This sets off a series of events that will reshape the realm, with ripples reaching the far north of Westeros and far south of Essos.
Tywin/Sansa is the focus for much of the early chapters. Additional POVs and plotlines come in later, but Sansa and/or Tywin will remain central characters throughout, their relationship a constant driving force.

An amazing read. Going by memory, by chapter 5 the story reveals itself to be far more than just "lets get Sansa and Tywin together at Harrenhal." Big questions are asked, challenging all the characters in ways very few fic writers are willing to do - and the story is VERY interesting! Full of twists and turns, I love this fic and the Sansa/Tywin dynamic - and I don't even ship them!
