Kenma doesn't usually bother with hotel bars. The end of a long day of meetings out of town typically means room service and a night spent in the nicest suite that Kuroo uses his card to book.
Shouyou doesn't usually bother with hotels, period. Being in a new town means crashing on the couches (or in the beds of) local friends.
When both of their plans get derailed and the two meet at Kenma's upscale hotel bar, they find themselves getting little sleep.

It’s when he first wakes up that he feels sick. When he lets his mom’s acerbic voice leak into his head, you’re sick Eddie, boys don’t touch other boys, you’re sick and you need to get better.
