Shadow awakens to a version of his world where the sky is permanently dark, and light really is running low. The outlook seems bleak, but as ever, Sonic appears, this time wielding a lightbulb big enough to show a way through this new, dark world. They’ve got each other, they’ve got more allies all around the world, and Sonic is holding the key to restoring hope to everyone.
There’s just a few issues… The world around them is decaying, reality is breaking, and the lightbulb is fragile. They’ve only got one shot.
