Donatello was a great engineer... to good his robot body was made to last, made to stay with Raph to keep him safe...he did but years had passed sense his family and Mira passed away but he is still here trapped in the suit he made. He is scared if he powers down he will stay trapped in that suit. He just wants to rest with his family.
This is stupid I was making it up as I wrote it, it is not really planed out great. I love the premise tho and wanted to write something short about it.

Donatello has gone missing, All the brothers have searched for years for him. Michelangelo believes Don chose to leave them behind. Leonardo cant picture Don just leavening and abandoning them and believes Don was probably killed. As for Raphael refuses to believe Mikey or Leo, never losing hope, sensing Don was alive somewhere. Raphael will search relentlessly until that hope fades or until he can no longer continue. No matter how many years pass, one thing remains clear in his heart, he will not rest until he brings his brother home.
