Katsuki was the one to break from the erratic kiss, pulling his face a few inches from Shouto's. His hands were cupping Shouto's cheeks and circling his thumb in the soft spot on Shouto's cheeks, where his "badass" (as described by Katsuki) scar and porcelain cheeks merge on the left side of his face. "That was," Katsuki uttered with a voice that was oozing with love, "fucking awesome."
Shouto's heart jumped at Katsuki's words. Before he realized it, he was flashing one of his most genuine and beautiful smiles at the man that was lovingly cupping his cheeks. It was a smile that spoke of love like a quiet hush whispered to the ears when they made love. He saw Katsuki's pupils dilating and scarlet eyes softening as it looked at Shouto adoringly. With a smile on his face and happiness in his heart, Shouto replied, "I know."
