Summary
In the medieval kingdom of Valdris, Prince Steven is the sole heir to a throne that comes with an impossible price: marriage to a foreign princess to secure political alliances.
Sir Edward, a knight who rose from the streets to become Steve's most trusted protector, has sworn his life to serve the crown. But Eddie discovers that loyalty to his prince and loyalty to his king may be two very different things. In a world where love between men is treason and duty demands the ultimate sacrifice, both must choose what they're willing to lose.
Caught between the weight of a crown and the pull of a heart that refuses to be silenced, Steve and Eddie face a brutal reality: in the game of thrones, love is the most dangerous weakness of all. Some choices will save a kingdom. Others will damn a soul. And sometimes, the greatest act of love is learning when to let go.

Summary
In 1991, Steve Harrington has built the perfect life with the ideal fiancée, a pristine house, and a promising career. Yet on his sleepless nights, the facade starts to crack, and a filthy gas station bathroom lays bare desires he has spent his whole life trying to deny.
When Eddie Munson lands in jail after a bar fight, Steve posts his bail thinking he is just settling an old debt, but the favor soon deepens as Eddie begins to occupy his basement, his routine and, little by little, his thoughts. Between hospital nights, metal tapes, revealed scars, and a wanting that returns every time the house goes dark, Steve must choose between clinging to the role of perfect man or facing what he feels for the one disaster that actually makes sense in his life.“They had no idea what the hell they were doing, legs stumbling on euphoria and alcohol. Consequences dissolved in gin and vodka, and the outside world, with its insecurities, expectations, obligations, and judgments, evaporated like cigarette smoke. All that mattered were those fierce eyes and pupils blown wide with raw desire, devouring them whole; stars on a collision course through the void, promising annihilation and rebirth in the same burning breath.”

Summary
Eddie's eyebrows shoot up as high as they can go. His heart is beating a rabbit rhythm against his chest. The floor below him crumbling into an abyss. He’s in free fall here, utterly helpless to the onslaught that is Steve’s confession.
Drunk confession.
The reminder does nothing to soften the blow when he feels calloused fingertips on the corner of his eye. “And your laugh lines, I don’t know anybody who has them. Not as deep as yours.” Steve’s fingers drag lower, to his cheeks, and brush against the scars on his jaw. “Has anybody ever told you that you laugh with your entire face?”
OR a reverse 5+1: The one time Steve drunkenly confesses all the things he likes about Eddie and the five times Eddie tries to fluster him with said attributes.

Summary
It starts out with a little bit of jealousy. Healthy. Steve doesn't like sharing. Typical only child. And every second word out of Dustin's mouth is Eddie Munson. Eddie Munson this, Eddie Munson that. Eddie thinks, Eddie said, Eddie doesn't like.
Eddie, Eddie, Eddie.
It's only natural to do a little background check. You wouldn't just let anyone babysit your kids.
or: Steve Harrington starts stalking Eddie Munson. It might be more than he has bargained for.
