After the last two years of suffering and inter-dimensional threats, Will only wants to spend a nice summer with his friends. Too bad they are too busy with their new relationships. With Dustin now away for summer camp he dreads the eternal afternoons of fifth wheeling and being ignored.
After everything the happened last summer, Richie's mother thinks it's best if he visits family for a while. Anything to get him out of a town that was clearly getting to him, even if Richie doesn't think she knew why. He dreads being away from the only people who can understand.
Or, Will and Richie meet when they need each other the most.
