Hermione Granger has given up on her dream to find the cure for a plague causing havoc on Dragons all across Romania, Theodore Nott a close friend offers her a job at a dead department with only one other colleague. so with her bags packed and her children in tow, she moves back to England, she hasn't been back since Ron died.
Draco Malfoy works as the Potions expert in a dead department of Saint Mungoes, he's almost 31 and is quite literally alone in his Marriage of six years, and continually wishes to fulfill his dream of being a father. And when Theodore Nott tells him he has a new colleague he definitely doesn't think it's his crush from fifth year.
and when he sees her struggling like never before, he offers to take care of her children sometimes, in exchange for a home cooked meal and social interaction. (yes he is that lonely)
