    Raph and Leo split up, while Donnie’s coughs subsided.
    He frowned. “It’s probably just a common cold.”

    Donnie gets sick bc Baxter Stockman in the 2012 version is weird and is in a weird nebulous region of science where he's not really an engineer or a doctor or anything, he's just kinda... all of it.
