What if Gael’s bastard child lived?Born in late 99 AC, Gaelys is the orphaned bastard daughter of Princess Gael Targaryen, the tragic ‘Winter Child’ that was once the love of Daemon Targaryen’s life.
After her mother's mysterious death, Gaelys is raised blessed with the sisterhood of Rhaenyra and the tutelage of Rhaenys. With no place at court as a bastard, the Targaryen princesses are the only real family she can count on as a child. As a young maiden Gaelys pledges her unwavering loyalty to become lady in waiting to the heir and so she supports her cousin as crown princess while she helps raise the next generation of Targaryens.
Unrequited feelings eventually leads to a years long love story with Harwin Strong and a complicated relationship with her mother’s lover. Taking place throughout 111-135 AC Daemon Targaryen works subtly in the shadows, because the dragon must have three heads in order to alter the fate of his house’s dynasty.

Summary
When the youngest sister of Prince Daemon and King Viserys returns to King's Landing after the loss of her firstborn son and her husband she is filled with grief and resentment. With Aerea Targaryen reuniting once again with her brother Daemon, an old spark might start a fire once again leading to chaos and scandal that she could've never predicted. Plagued with nightmares and a desire to feel free after her five years in an unhappy marriage, she would be forced to adapt once again to living with her daughter in the Red Keep— where most cannot be trusted and dark plots threaten to end the life she has always yearned for in the quest for power.
