Ethan Winters has always managed to find himself in the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong people.

He’s only got one mysterious ally in his corner - a man who speaks in half-truths over the phone and goes by the singular name of “Karl.”
All Ethan wants is his daughter back. Is that really too much to ask?

You're a hawk. Just like me. I suppose birds of a feather really do flock together, don't they?”
'Here we go,' Ethan thought to himself. 'Trying to get on my good side… Again. Persistent, like a buzzard.'
