Summary
Grian wasn’t aware what he was getting himself into when Witness Protection got him out of Japan. Maybe he’d be put on the street somewhere, or arrested for being an accomplice. After all, he did let the Massacre happen.
Having already been living in a society where those inhuman were a threat, Grian was used to keeping secrets. He learned to expect most the worst. However, he hadn’t anticipated any of this. Grian, now Xelqua, was living in a shared apartment with Mumbo, a part time vet in college for electrical engineering.
Grian, remembering his aspirations for getting a degree in architectural design, finally, applied for college, and, months of hard work, he finally got accepted.
If he wasn’t expecting such a warm welcome with Mumbo, he definitely didn’t expect two members of the Floriculture club who treated him like family, even if they had just met. Though one of them looked unsettlingly familiar. And the club leader made his heart race in ways he forgot possible.
Will Grian find a way to manage college life while navigating past his trauma, or will he succumb to the dark, leaving the light - his friends and potential love interests - behind, finally reaching his Breaking Point?
