Summary
The last thing Peter sees is Tony's horrified, heartbroken expression leaning over him. The guilt in his eyes is almost worse than the burning pain that's taking Peter apart piece by piece. The world starts to go dark.
There's a flash of gold and green. For one moment, he finds himself standing amongst the Guardians and others. And then darkness again. It feels like blinking; an extended period of nothingness that ends as abruptly as it begins. One moment there’s nothing, the next there’s light.
“Easy,” a woman says. Her words are gentle, and carry a slight accent that he can’t place. "I'm called Wonder Woman. What's your name?"

"Tony, talk to me. What's going on with you? You're freaking us out."
Tony keeps making his snow angel. He moves his arms and legs back and forth and stares up at the bright blue sky until Peter moves a little closer, eclipsing the sun. He narrows his eyes and stares down at him like he's insane.
Because he is insane.
"Peter," Tony says, beginning the conversation he's had so many times before. "Do you trust me?"
"Of course," Peter says.
"We're in a time loop. I'm Bill Murray. I remember everything, you guys don't, we're...we are trapped. We're trapped, buddy. I've done this over and over. And over. And over and over and over. I don't know how to fix it. So I'm...giving up. I make snow angels now. And that's it."

Summary
Early December in New York City is brutal. With temperatures hovering in the low fifties and mid-forties, there isn't much wiggle room- you either have what you need or you don't.
Peter falls somewhere in the second category.
He's made a list of what he has, keeps it zipped up in his old backpack to make sure he hasn't lost anything important. It isn't long: a carefully folded wad of cash in the bottom of his bag, hidden away to make sure nobody else can find it; three granola bars for emergencies; ibuprofen (fighting crime isn't safe, kids); his Spider-Man suit (that's what he's decided to call himself); a pair of extra socks; his pictures.
That's it. Everything Peter owns fits in one bag.
That's his lot in life.
Pathetic.
(In which May and Ben died in tragic circumstances, leaving a fifteen-year-old Peter Parker to fend for himself. Enter Tony Stark: genius, playboy, billionaire, philanthropist, and- apparently- Spider-dad.)
