She didn't argue, but stared at him, hard, defiant, "You are disgusting. So, no, I will never stop feeling guilty. I will never stop feeling shame."
"Perfect," he made sure to show her all of his carefully crafted teeth, "Then I will never go hungry."
He was surprised when she smiled back, all sharp white fangs and flashing dragon eyes. She had never looked less human.
"And you're addicted to me," she countered, meeting his eyes without flinching, "so I will never get lonely."
