Joe Cruz had been my most favourite Character of Chicago Fire since season 1 and in fact, he is the one this because of whom I started watching Chicago Fire. So for all the Cruz fan, here is a Cruz centric fanfiction, right after the end of Episode 13 X 09 ' A Favor'. Hope you will like it.

In the season 3 episode 9 'Never forget, I love You' we witnessed Adam taking a fall from a 2nd storey right infront of Jay. The episode did not emphasis much on its aftermath. The fanfiction is based on the happenings of the episode the extended version of the following events. Some changes might be there, for I could not see the entire episode.

He lay on the cold ground. All around him was darkness and silence. His gaze was directed upwards towards the night sky. Snowflakes danced in the air and fell lightly on his face. He didn't know how long he had been lying here, but it must have been a long time, because he should be cold. Not only was the snow constantly falling on him, but the snow was also underneath him, and his clothes must have been soaked through and through. But he didn't feel any of it, he hadn't really felt anything at all for a while now, except the complete peace and joy of the approaching end.
