Summary
Let me tell you the story of a monster, and the story of me.
Before the hero was born there was another kind of monster, a tyrant. Before the tyrant there were the gods who built him, fearing their own fall. Who was to blame but them when their creation turned into something even worse than their puppet? When the king became a tyrant, the gods built another monster entirely to face him. That was their second great mistake.
From their mistakes there came adventure, loss, pain, and the promise to seek life. The old monster will die, and something else will take his place—a hero.
