Summary
For the first time Joe finds himself being the one hunted. A serial killer who's been taking out the people he's been hanging around is blackmailing him knowing all about his past forcing him to tap back into his killer roots.
While being introduced into Malcolm's social circle he meets Rhys Montrose, likeable and charming mayor candidate and successful writer who he develops a strange but deep connection with. He can't grasp why he chooses to associate himself with the elite narcissists he surrounds himself and tries to understand him wondering if Rhys is really the good man in a cruel world he presents himself as or he's hiding something much darker.
au where Rhys manipulates Joe into making him believe he's hallucinating him. Watching the cute American go slowly insane quickly becomes his favorite source of entertainment. Rhys can't wait to pick up the pieces after breaking the man and molding him in his image.
