Summary
Milo Adler was the medic and jack of all trades of Keith's crew at the Garrison. They were thick as thieves, as Shiro always said. But when Shiro is presumed dead, and Keith gets kicked from the Garrison, Milo is left behind fending off all their demons alone. Battered, bruised, and nowhere left to go, Milo leaves their life at school behind and flees to where they know they'll be safe: Keith's place. Milo gets dragged into searching for a mysterious energy source and, unknowingly, signs themself up to become a defender of the universe.

“Well, he’s ten, sir. Ten year olds aren’t allowed to work.” There was a long pause, then an unsubtle cough. “Or drive.”
Hands on her hips, Blazer slammed to a halt, face expectant. Chase silently counted down from ten in his head, then took a long, calming breath.
“Let me get this straight. Robert Robertson is at your police station, and he is visibly ten years old?”
Blazer startled, anger evaporating in a blink.
