The small laundromat on the edge of campus is empty. Quiet. Peaceful. Scents of fabric softener waft through the air, sweet and flowery. It's cold outside but despite the place being old, it has good insulation and keeps the chill at bay. At 10pm on an otherwise serene Friday night, sitting on a small bench, hands crossed over her chest and foot tapping rapidly on the floor, Katsuki is ready to kill a bitch.
The only working dryer is taken, and the stupid motherfucker who left their clothes there would not show up.
Or: They're lesbians! In college! Who squabble over laundry and exchange extremely sapphic letters from afar without ever meeting (until the end). It's precisely as gay as it sounds.

Jabber had a good handle on things. He knew what he wanted. He knew how to get it. And recently, he knew what Zanka wanted. And he knew that he really wanted him to accomplish that (beating the hell outta Jabber). So when he wants to see Zanka laughing his head off without a care in the world, he decides the new toxin he's come across is perfect for their next fight.
But that's not exactly how it happens. Because Jabber Wonger is a scientist that doesn't like to follow all the rules.
And when the consequence of that ends up being him having to trip sit a very clingy, overly affectionate Zanka?
Well, he's not gonna regret it now.
This is not gonna permenantely affect him at all. He'll be fine. He can handle it.

"Megumi, what are you implying?" his voice dropped significantly lower, making him shiver involuntarily. It wasn't everyday that he got to see a more serious side of his ex guardian. He sat down at the edge of the bed, sheets rustling below him.
"I met this…guy?" he began. A smirk almost tugged the corners of Gojo's lips, but a nudge by Geto was enough to erase the smug expression, "I was patrolling, as usual. And some…guy…crashed into me while I was in midair and—"
"Woah there, pause." Gojo cut him off, clearly more awake now. "Did I hear that right? What do you mean crashed into you while you were in midair?"
"I said what I said. Some guy crashed into me, and that's why I'm asking if the experiment lost two specimens or more."
Gojo rubbed his temples, eyebrows furrowing. "I don't think so. I retrieved as many documents as I could from the lab, but none of them mentioned a second spider or anything similar."

“Hey, you know how band-aids were invented?” Reki asks, smoothing the bandage down and Langa wonders if he can feel how flushed and hot his face is, if he knows.
Langa shakes his head.
“Some old dude made ‘em for his wife,” Reki continues “Guess she was super clumsy in the kitchen - like you - so she cut herself a bunch.”
“I’m not clumsy,” Langa says petulantly.
Reki levels him with a look, then. “Yeah? Then what’re we calling that time you tripped over the curb and ran face-first into a telephone pole? Interpretive dance?”
Langa frowns. He’d tripped over that curb because Reki was talking about a new idea for a deck, something about painting the surface and then cutting designs into the grip tape so you could see the colors shine through and Langa was focused on the way Reki’s scratched and bandaged hands were flitting about as he spoke, alive like the butterflies surging in Langa’s stomach and he hadn’t seen the curb until it was too late because his eyes were too full of Reki to notice anything else.

Langa was so sure Reki felt the same way about him. The long stares, the touching, the sleepovers, and intimate conversations they had. Apparently Langa was delusional however because this whole time it had apparently been one sided. The feeling wasn’t mutual.
