Summary
Whether you know yourself or not, there is an intimacy in being seen. To allow another to see you is to allow them to know you. There is no greater danger, but there is also no greater reward. This is a risk: will you take it?

Summary
Predictions have the capability to lead to ruin. Placing too much faith in the prognosis of your mind creates a newfound kind of dependence on yourself that when torn down will result in your own sweet, tantalizing annihilation.
Fyodor could predict the actions of anyone, but he could not predict the way Nikolai would make him feel. He could not even begin to comprehend it when his lips began to taste like a poem, like religion, like the very antithesis of sin. And he could not do anything but allow himself to fall asunder.

Summary
Standing on the edge of the world, what thoughts come to your mind? Do you think about your loved ones? Your past? Your experiences? What do you regret? What do you wish you could change? On the brink of death, as your last moments flow calmly past you in a wave that feels almost nostalgic, what would you allow yourself to feel?

Summary
“Well, well, well. I certainly never thought I would find a member of the Zoldyck family out here, but I can’t say I’m disappointed.”
Hisoka was bold; he brought his hand up to caress Illumi’s cheek- an action that earned a shiver from the black-haired man, but he pulled away instinctively.
“You have certainly caught my interest.~”
They became allies; Illumi dared not say friends, his mother would kill him, and slowly but surely he fell deeper and deeper into this new emotion that he didn’t have a name for. They teamed up on missions, helped each other when they got injured, and always offered one another a place to stay. Truly, it was a dedication, a feeling Illumi had never felt before he met Hisoka.
However, a paradise can be taken apart with such ease.

Summary
Chrollo was surprisingly skilled at tying things together, but Hisoka should have expected no less from his leader. He worked the rope over the man underneath him, entwining the lines together in near-perfect knots, and making sure there was no way for him to escape. He cared not for the obvious red marks on Hisoka’s skin. His mind lingered elsewhere, wanting nothing more than to see the man underneath him submit, to see him break.
“How cruel, Danchou. Using ropes when there are perfectly fine cloths not three feet away from you.”
Chrollo yanked on one of the lines tight enough to hurt, and the redhead let out a moan.
“You’ll live, and it’s quite obvious that you enjoy things rough.”
Hisoka couldn’t deny that.

Summary
Hisoka proceeded to move back up to Illumi’s face and enraptured his lips with his own.
That act, so mere compared to the sins they would indulge in later in the night, such a normal act for people to commit, regardless of its simplicity, made the black hole of emotions which had eaten at Illumi’s chest for oh-so long crashing down.
I love you, I love you, I love you, Hisoka-
He worked his mouth hungrily against the redhead’s. He knew he didn’t know what love was, but this felt like everything he imagined it would. The surging feelings in his chest, the desperation, the craving; he craved Hisoka with every fiber of his being and he never wanted to let him go.
