Honey brown eyes flick to John, drifting towards his outfit for a brief moment, then Ghost's head turns and he once again faces the crowd.
John's never been a self-conscious man, but he finds himself glancing down, making sure his white button down shirt isn't wrinkled, or that the buttons aren't in the wrong holes. But all is as it should be; even his fly is zipped up. He can't deny that he sighs a bit in relief that he doesn't look like a fool.

“The building has been set to blow up!” Ghost shouted into the comms, cursing the bad connection. He could finally see the light from the ground floor. “Tell Price and Gaz to–”
The ground beneath him shook with a deafening boom.Ghost hit the stairs hard, grunting when his shin connected painfully with the edge of a step. Soap was now frantically calling for him through the comms but there was no time for him to respond. The whole house was shaking, rumbling ominously, dust and plaster raining down on him, so Ghost pushed himself up and through the door just as the stairs collapsed, but that’s as far as he got. The ceiling above him came down and the moment something struck his head, everything went dark.

“I’m positive. Go fishing with your dad,” He coughs a few times into his elbow, headache already returning despite the copious amounts of medicine the other’s forced down his gullet, “I’ll be alright.”
