Summary
There’s another brief silence, a short crackle. “Everyone is safe and accounted for except for you and Buck. He…he hasn’t reached out over the radio yet. But, Bobby, you need to stay still - the building isn’t stabilised yet, and with your broken ankle you need to stay put so that we can get to you, okay? Stay -”
Bobby was on his feet before she had finished her first sentence.
“Where was he when it went down?” Bobby asked, trying and failing to mask the wince in his voice as he put pressure on his ankle.
“Bobby-”
“Hen.”

Summary
After feeling let down by Season 8, I started writing my own version of Season 9. I've taken two screenwriting classes as part of my degree in Drama And Theatre Studies, which I have recently graduated with. I'll be posting the episodes I write as part of series.
This is Episode Four, "The Son".
"In the wake of Bobby’s death, Buck reverts back to old ways and finds himself questioning if fighting is worth it anymore, or ever was to begin with. Old wounds reopen and new ones add to his ever growing trauma as he delves into unhealthy ways of coping.
Like father, like son."Series

Summary
Buck lost count of the nightmares.
Everytime he closed his eyes, Buck saw Bobby. The captain he admired, the mentor who taught him so much, and the father he loved, Buck kept seeing him. Trapped on the other side of bullet-proof tampered glass, blood dripping from his nose across his graying skin. The pained expression in his watering eyes.
"I love you, kid."
Buck hadn't said it back. And now, he stood in the L.A. Hospital with his team, begging Steve McGarrett to tell him what in the hell was going on.
"Steve," Buck repeated, desperate. "Why are you here?"
Steve pursed his lips, nodded a few times, and then let out a deep breath and looked Buck straight in the eyes.
"Because when I discover one of the victims of abuse and unlawful science experimentation in a ring of underground labs is the captain of one of my guys, I think I owe it to him to bring him home."
OR: Bobby's been trapped in an underground lab for a year. He makes it home to his son.
