Summary
"Take it," she commanded. "If you believe I am a monster... if you believe I am destined to burn them all... then do it now. Finish it. Save the realm. Be the hero."She stepped closer, pressing the daggers hilt into his hand.
"But if you don't," she whispered, her eyes burning into his, "if you let me live... then you do not get to walk away. You do not get to retreat to the North and wash your hands of what I become. You work with me. You stand beside me as the world caves in. You become what you refused to be. And you never look away again."
She gripped his wrist, her fingers digging in, anchoring him to the spot.
"If you do," she hissed, "I will make King's Landing look like a mercy, and I will make you watch our failure."

Summary
Everyone knows Mace Tyrell is a fool. The Fat Flower of Highgarden, an oaf who stumbled into power and lets his formidable mother run the Reach from behind his chair.
Everyone is wrong.
When the Tyrells embark on an unprecedented journey north—ostensibly to visit the legendary Wall—they bring more than wagons laden with grain and steel. They bring questions. Particularly about a certain bastard boy raised alongside the Stark heirs, treated with far more care than any lord's indiscretion should warrant.
But the North keeps its own counsel, and Eddard Stark has survived a rebellion, kept his secrets for fourteen years, and will not yield them easily—not even to the cleverest roses the South can grow.
