The scene in the kitchen doesn’t leave Lian alone for the entire week. Not that she’s disturbed by it, maybe a little distraught at most. Surprised? Maybe, even if she probably shouldn’t be. After all, she knew about her dad’s questionable taste in people – take her mom, for example – but, like, Red Hood? Seriously?
And what if she had walked in on them just a few moments later? That would’ve earned her a whole new trauma and probably made her unable to look her dad in the eye for the rest of her life.

Lian's life post-death is going pretty good, but currently she's got three big questions bothering her: Who has been stealing her snacks when she's not home, why is Red Hood sneaking into their house in the middle of the night, and what is going on with her dad and his best friend?She's going to get to the bottom of this.

Jason frowns and shakes his head. “This is not like the thing with Tim and Steph. First of all, they were dating back then.”
“Yeah?” Dick says, eyebrows raised. For a moment they just stare at each other over their half-eaten brunch. Then Dick frowns, too, like he’s come to some kind of confusing realization. “Wait. Are you saying that you and Roy aren’t?”
If Jason had known that saying yes to brunch would lead to this, he would’ve said no, no matter how good the poached eggs are. Right now, though, he can’t say anything. All he can do is stare at Dick with his face as full of shock and confusion as his brother’s. Jesus Christ, this is why he doesn’t do family dinners or lunches or anything. Some kind of bullshit always happens.

In a diner somewhere in the Midwest, in front of two dozen pairs of eyes, Jason presses the barrel of his gun against the back of Roy’s head and says: “No one move or I’m gonna blow his brains out and ruin everyone’s evening.”
The gun moves from Roy’s head to rest against the back of his neck, the metal warm from being pressed against Jason’s side in his underarm holster before he pulled it out on Roy. It feels like a kiss. Roy bites the inside of his cheek to keep himself from smiling.

Summary
Edward is the odd one out in Gotham's most reputable boarding school, trying to get through the senior year surrounded by filthy rich kids who he has nothing in common with. Followed by the brutal murder of one of his teachers, Edward finds himself having to work with no other than Bruce Wayne, the person he despises the most, to find out who is behind the murder, and what part Edward and Bruce play in it.

Some little scene sketches from early in Marty and Rust's partnership, and parts of the 1995 investigation. Not in chronological order.
In Louisiana Rust creates his own structure. His work is necessary and not overtly cruel to the larger human organism of which he is a part. He is entitled to the things that allow him to do the work: mattress, cigarettes, books, shoes.
He is not entitled to Marty but has ended up with him anyway. This will backfire.
