This is just... brilliant. I was just scrolling through the "Footnotes" tag for a lark when I came across this and boy, did it blow me away with its interactive elements. Never read anything like it before. Especially appreciate the ending notes including what's real and what's fake, I probably would've been convinced the whole thing was real otherwise.

The thing I appreciate the most about this work is how real it feels. A lot of the things in this fic remind me of things that've happened to me IRL and that exponentiates the warm feelings I get while reading by the power of 3. Bones in particular reminds me of my younger brother at times.

There were a few moments during the day where he wasn't with Eudon, however. Like with tutoring—all the kids did it, and it was beyond boring.
While the various men and women tried to teach him about the Maths, sciences, and other subjects, Bennett's mind alway—inevitably, wandered somewhere far away.
While they droned about addition and sight words, he thought of all the places he could be that weren't the stuffy rooms—based entirely off of pictures from travelogs he found in the library but couldn't yet read. From the peak of Elynas to the foggy Tsurumi Island, there was one place he thought about the most.
Does the Mondstadt Cathedral really have a wolf head on its relief? He wondered, knowing full well he'd most likely never get to confirm the question in person.
After all, these were nothing but the mild imaginative thoughts of a small child—nothing more, nothing less.
or: a bennett in fontaine is very different from a bennett in mondstadt, but at the end of day some things are always the same.

Bookmarking this because... the author just stopped? I mean, they seemed to have the whole fic planned down to each iota judging by their notes (even included a music rec), and their account is still active, but they haven't touched a lick for months. I mean, they're entitled to do whatever, but it's just strange to me; they seemed so darn passionate and then POOF! I'll be waiting patiently to see where this goes.
